A coming-soon launch and product build for a perimenopause tracking app
Project Overview
What We Worked On
- Brand and product positioning
- Animated coming-soon landing page
- Waitlist capture and admin view
- Live multi-currency pricing
- Daily journal, calendar and trends
- Reminders and exportable appointment summary
Background
PHASE is a perimenopause tracker for women aged 40–55: 30 seconds a day to log bleeding, symptoms and well-being, then see real trends over time. We built both the launch — a bold coming-soon page that collects a waitlist — and the product behind it, in French first.
The Challenge
- A misunderstood life stage — Women in perimenopause are often told they are simply "irregular"; the brand had to speak with clarity and respect.
- Pre-launch traction — The product needed a waitlist and a convincing story before the app was public.
- Logging fatigue — Tracking had to take seconds a day, or nobody would keep it up.
- Honest insights — Trends had to reflect the user's own data, never invented correlations.
- Sensitive data — Health information demanded privacy by default.
The Solution
Phase 1: Positioning
Defined a direct, no-nonsense voice and a bold typographic identity built around the PHASE wordmark.
Phase 2: Coming-Soon Launch
Built an animated landing page with a waitlist form, feature cards, a step-by-step method and an accessible reduced-motion mode.
Phase 3: Pricing
Showed free and premium plans in the visitor's local currency, with exchange rates refreshed weekly by a scheduled job.
Phase 4: Tracking Product
Designed the daily journal, a year-view calendar, 3/6/12-month trends and a factual summary ready for a gynaecology appointment.
Phase 5: Privacy & Retention
Stored data locally by default with optional account sync, and added reminders, history exports and a waitlist admin.
